Life of Your Own is a community-based charity which helps people with disabilities and high support needs access self-determined care and support services, letting them live in their own homes in the local community.

Life of Your Own champions increased participation and inclusion in the community for people who are vulnerable to exclusion. Our services are designed to enable individuals develop home lives, build networks of social relationships and find gainful employment.

We find the best way to do this is through a balanced

mix of giving hands-on assistance in self-directed care and offering advice on independent living, providing guidance on accommodation and other support services, and training and assistance to families, carers or anybody who works with them professionally or voluntarily.
